Not Roy Keane

Who they seriously gonna appoint now? Only warnock would have any credibility if we magically got promoted in the championship so we’re on a hiding to none any way.

It’s honestly scandalous, we’ve got a breed of new wave charlatans at the helm here.

My only criticism is that the board have wasted far too much time on Keane when it was perfectly obvious he wasn't a suitable candidate. McCann seems to be the favourite now and while he's better qualified, he still wouldn't be my choice. I'd rather we stuck to our data driven approach so I'd be happier with Kisnorbo.

Your ONLY criticism? You have low standards

Lennon would not appease our fans, not at all.
I’d prefer Lennon to McCann to be honest but don’t particularly want either (and I wasn’t that keen on Keane returning).

He’s a leader, which is something we need, and actually had a decent record at Hibs - got them promoted at first time of asking and had them 4th in SPL first season back and was only sacked because he fell out with the Chief Exec.

The club has completely capitulated in two weeks. Its heart breaking.

We need transparency now about the ownership. Fans meeting next week. Rawa should be demanding this detail ahead of the meeting.

Kyril needs to turn up in person and explain what the fuck is going on, and what the genuine plans are for the future.

He needs to be made aware that a lot of people are on the verge of walking away. Perhaps forever.

Clearly wanted it. Either pulled out because the club have taken the absolute piss in appointing him or decided they’d rather McCann. Either way they can get fucked

Not even that bothered really. Would rather an intelligent and considered appointment personally. Being emotionally reactive and nostalgia slags got us in this current mess to begin with.

Would have been nice, and could have possibly worked. But it isn’t the end of the world
I agree. I have warmed to the idea of him coming back but in truth his overall record shows he has lost as many games as he has won as a manager. That is understandable at Sunderland where he spent time in the both the Prem and Championship, but less so at Ipswich. He does not appear to have been popular at Villa or with Ireland so maybe it would have turned sour. There is more to management than leadership.

I have no faith in KLD or Speakman but they may get lucky with their next appointment. All we can do is wait and see.
