Not drawing the Mags in the cup

:lol: He's topper like. Look through his post history. Pro mag/anti SAFC constantly. Looks a right tit :lol:
Make a starting 11 and subs from both teams and post it on here. If you are going to embarrass yourself you may aswell go the whole hog, but again its easier to ignore the truth and hoy petty insults about than accept the reality of the situation you would probably take benitez over moyes you are so pathetically blinkered:oops:

Without delving into the detail of which player is better in each respective position, my reasons for not wanting to draw them in the cup are principally that they are better this season than last, we are worse than last, and we only finished two points ahead of them.

The reason I think they are better than last season is that Schteve was managing them for the bulk of the season and Rafa raised their points per game average to something that would have been 40+. They were knackered as soon as they kept SMc for the Stoke(?) and Bournemouth games, meaning that Rafa had three out of his first four games away (and their away form was horrendous), including the Championships elect, and the home game in that run was the derby. If they had binned him sooner then they would have been up to speed quicker, as evidenced by the 12 points from the last six games including Man City, Liverpool and Spurs.

In terms of players of note, they lost Wijnaldum (who wasn't really used in that run) , Janmaat, Sissoko and Townsend. They've downgraded on Townsend to Ritchie in my opinion, but Ritchie is still a decent player. The others I'm not sure they are truly missing? Sissoko blew hot and cold at best. On the flip side, Rafa has now had them for a whole pre-season and they look far more organised and compact, especially away. The matches I've seen on Sky have been dull, but I suspect most lower-half Prem sides would be happy with a record of 5-1-1 in seven away games against Championship oppo, only conceding two goals in the process.

Ultimately confidence and organisation are huge in football - that's why Bournemouth are far greater than the some of their individual parts, and why we are struggling so badly at the minute.

Its extremely amusing to see the mags bigging up Shelvey like he's some top player after a few games in the Championship, the same set of fans who were slating him while he was utter shit in the Premier League. I don't think they are quite grasping that footballers look better playing in a far lower standard of football. Thickest set of fans you will ever come across, this thread is highlighting perfectly why they are known as the most deluded fanbase in the land.

Defoe as back up for Gayle :lol::lol:

@Biffo The Bear

:lol: ffs he is better than all their forwards put together.

Nobody has said he's top player, just better than the midfield currently without a win in the Premier League.
The praise has also come with criticism of his attitude.
The standard of football was referenced.
:lol: Catchphrase Bingo

but other than that, it's a top top post. :lol:

Put your teeth away son.

Championship side, new impetus, riding high, full of confidence in their seasons cup final against a premier league team devoid of confidence and bottom of the league , I wouldn't be very confident at all but then I remember that at the minute we seem to be able to field any old shite and still get a result against them.

Are you for real?

Defoe and kone are the only 2 outfield players that would get in their team yet they have at least 6 or 7 that would walk into ours.

Perez
Ritchie
Gayle
Shelvey
Colback
Diame
Yedlin

All would walk into our current starting 11 and most with our fully fit 11.

Just blinkered bollocks playing the uber as per.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Aye mate, nice one.

Defoe on the becj behind Gayle if we piecked a best eleven :lol:

Colback would walk into our best eleven :lol:

Its merely a coincidence Shelvey looks good this season (in the Championship) when he was utter shite (in the Premiership) last season :lol:
they are dog shit mate, lasceallase or summit at cb , is stevey taylor still playing his trade there ? ciaran clark 5m :lol:

Serious question @dangermows you often seem to misrepresent opposing opinions to make them easier to argue against, why is that?

You can only beat the teams in front of you, but Shelvey's problem has never been a lack of ability, it was a lack of application and focus. Benitez seems to have addressed that

is what you said when I laughed at your suggestion that Shelvey would get in our team, after pointing out there is an obvious reason he looks good this season and looked shite last.

There is no misinterpretation. You cant see the standard of opposition is why a shit player currently looks good. You're stupid.

One thing I've noticed about the Newcastle fans at work is that they're actually enjoying football at the moment. Weird isn't it. It's all relative.
