Northamptonshire Steelbacks v Durham T20

When the margin is small two poor balls in the last two overs are very costly.
After a horrible start I am pleased but disappointed that they got really into a match to create a winning position from nowt but then lose the game because of two terrible deliveries in the last couple of overs.
That’s sport for you.
Can’t fault the effort

Fucks sake Lancs needed 6 off 2 and Wood hit the penultimate ball for 6.

A Worcs win would have kept the top 4 wide open. Now it's the below.

Warks 16
Lancs 13
Northants 12
Durham 11
Derbyshire 10
Leics 10
Yorkshire 8

Well whaddaya know, I’ve been warned and had a post completely deleted from this thread for daring to criticise the Bot.

Place has quick become a joke. So glad I withdrew my contributions.

Ban incoming… screenshot before the deletion.

Since my previous contribution was completely deleted, unnecessarily - given the majority of the post was about the cricket and only a small percentage about the 🤖, here it is again, with the 🤖 reference entirely removed.

Just caught up with this now after being busy earlier, Clark’s innings was one of the most difficult watches I’ve ever seen in this format . 10 balls he wasted, with every single one appearing to be a carbon copy of the one before. Wild swing outside off, miss, through to the keeper.

4-3 off 4 overs where it was lost.

Why is it*, that every team who plays us is able to ramp away to their hearts content for easy boundaries? Whilst our players might get one or two away but it inevitably proves to be their downfall??

Big dent to our quarter final hopes, but plenty games left to put it right.

Clearly, the overriding reason for this defeat was the match thread starter.

*I appreciate that is pure conjecture on my part and there has been absolutely zero research done before I’ve drawn that conclusion.
Waist high is for fast bowlers. It's higher for spinners I believe

It isn’t. It used to be head height, but they changed it to match the quicks.
