Mark simmington one of the best IMHO . Don't know if he's still playing . Very decent with ball ( seam and spin ) and a top bat
 
Pretty sure Gary Purcell captained horden many moons ago when Derrick Parry first came over


This was Gary Purcells performance for ECC on Saturday!! And my youngest put on 50 with him to win the game.. And he was part of the over 50s side who won the county championship last week

Him and Calvin Stephenson had a great personal battle in a Cup final a few years back at Hetton Lyons. Murton V Norton. Calvin won the battle that day. Think @Mrjardine turn his arm over too?

Mrjardine was injured that day. Tweaked a hammy day before against Bill Quay and was unable to bowl. A certain Tony Hadley wannabe may tell you it was a bad heart as oppose to hamstring but don't believe a word of it! :lol:
