North Brewing Co rescued from administration...

Yorkshire-based North Brewing Co has been sold out of administration to the director of a fellow Leeds brewery saving 78 staff jobs.

Well I for one am glad they're saved, their beers and bars are top-notch. Kirskstall are very good, too. At least it wasn't Heineken or some other macro monstrosity that stepped in.

I wonder how the likes of Brew York are faring through this rough patch - they could have gone wild with expansion but wisely kept it sensible and that could be the difference between surviving and coming out stronger, or going to the wall.
