Non (premier) league football thread.

Rather than start a new non league based thread to upset the haters I'll post this here.

What's the best non league match you've ever been at???

For me it was Woking 3 Macclesfield 2 in March 1996.
Woking, Macclesfield, & Stevenage all going for the Conference title that season.
4,500+ crowd & a cracking atmosphere throughout.
Ten man Woking trailing 2-1 at half time & pulling it around in the second half.
Clive Walker on top form, as he always was in the 'big' games.
Honestly it's still in the top 3 matches I've ever seen live no matter what the level.
England 4 Holland 1 a few months later would also be in there nee doubt.
Possibly Sunderland 3 Burnley 2 as well.

Love non league football me like

And you have a picture of a flag you had made ffs  I've taken a week off and have been working in between posting. I enjoy reading the threads and posting on here, surely that's why everyone comes on this site. You however seem to come on solely to talk about Shields for some bizarre reason.

Do you even support Sunderland or do you just intend on bumping as many Shields threads as possible?

It's funny how personal and antagonistic you get as well. You appear to be the one with anger issues.
Unlike you and Mart etc who reply with smileys I will give you a dignified response...
Yeah the majority of posts I make are about Shields nowadays- I wouldnt post half as many as I do , but I rise to the bait from the likes of yourself who are determined not to let folk have a sensible discussion.
I've been a member longer than you but unlike you I only post when I have a genuine interest which is why I have less than 3000 posts to your 50000. I dont see the point in slagging the side nowadays and they dont give me nothing to praise, so I dont spout shite to record a post (unlike some), hence I stick to where I can make a decent contribution - I'm Moyes in by the way but who the fuck is interested in knowing my opinion on that? I do find though that people respect my opinion on Shields, so I post my opinion
Yeah I support Sunderland and I stick by the fact I've been to far more games than you. Having said that I started going early seventies so have an unfair advantage there.
Yeah if you are going to post "grow up man" at a sensible post, then I will reply in kind. If thats personal mentioning that my thoughts are you have a lack of human companionship then so be it

Oh and you bump far more Shields threads than me! Oh the irony in that

Totally envious you were at that England Holland game...It was superb in the Ship n Royal watching that, never mind being at the game.
Best non league game? Shields 3 Morpeth 3 -Morpeth win on pens after extra time- It was akin to Sunderland Charlton except it was played in the Arctic Circle

Didn't read.

It's not Shields that are the issue though. It's the fact a lot of the threads were created purely for a reaction. Take that bellend Leicester fan, his threads are met with the same annoyance. Yet Swindon on Tour and supporters from other clubs can start threads about their clubs are usually met by normal responses. I don't mind Shields at all, the threads about them can be tedious as fuck though.

Iv only seen two Shields threads lately - last weeks for the lead up the the match against north shields, and the one for this weekends game against Marske. The winde-up threads were a reaction to people spamming the legit shields threads about how much they didnt care about shields....vicious circle.

What a nice chap you are.

Very.

Was also at the Switzerland match for Euro 96.
Couldn't get more extremes of quality of matches tbh.
And the brilliant thing is my Switzerland ticket cost £55.
The Holland one £35  Talk about comparatively value for money!!

If you want a non league forum check out Sums up Conference\Non-League quite well even if it does get off topic a bit.

Non League has its moments but it isn't that fun when you are desperate to get out of it.

I wouldnt either if I were the virgin and knew it was all going to be about my being an internet nerd who's never had he's end away:lol::lol:

Class craic. f***ing hell

Job done.

Here's another hypocrite. Just like the rest of them. Sit there saying its a Sunderland message board. Go check their profile and they start threads on anfield and on who Newcastle are signing

 f***ing hell, Mr Stalker.

It is a Sunderland message board. Newcastle are our local rivals. We visit Anfield this season.

Im sorry I've touched a nerve with your beloved Shields. I'm a Sunderland fan, nothing can dilute that. Good luck to you's.

I'm on there like
And have been since 1998 (i think), in various different guises.
It used to be a far far better format when it was Confguide & ran by a canny Yeovil fan.
(He only banned me briefly twice during years of abuse man:lol:)
Had some f***ing brilliant threads on there over the years.
Quite often non football related stuff.

This thread and others like it are another reason the SMB is a shadow of its former self.
