I dont understand the seemingly one upmanship? Personally I cant support more than one team, but fair enough if you do.

Maybes one thread would be good so all Shields stuff could stay in there?
 
They should just all stop posting on this forum as it's a SUNDERLAND forum not a Shields forum.

You should only 'support' one team in any case

Because they are separate forums on the Sunderland Message Board and hence not in Pure Football on the Sunderland Message Board, it's really not that hard marra

Not necessary. Firstly, merge all Shields threads into one. Secondly remove all argumentative threads (extra work for the mods admittedly) thirdly warnings can be dished out for obvious trolling on BOTH sides.

Agree with handing bans out for the trolls. Leave the serious chat to the rest of us.

There's plenty of posters on here who will support Feyenoord, Rangers and Celtic etc despite not having any real connection to the areas.

The area is greyer than John Major's head though jockey. It's a Sunderland message board with a clearly define Pure Football sub-forum.

Maximus believes this then encourages antagonism. True story.
