Non (premier) league football thread.

I'm still waiting for any kind of proof the SoL is 60% people from South Shields.

You'll wait a long time, it's absolute nonsense.

South Shields has around 100,000 people, men, women, children & Mags.
60% of the SOL is 24,000 which would mean a quarter of Shields go to the games.

I may just be making up facts but it's contagious

Probably the first response having a dig at shields even though shields were never mentioned. That set the tone

Shields might not have been mentioned, but lets face it a thread about Non-League Football and the number of Shields threads on this forum lately, there was inevitably going to be a connection and a mention of Shields eventually (considering they are a non-league club)
The thread itself is in inference to the number of shields threads that have been posted and subsequently derided by the few.

Blue Pop-agenda, that marra

You at Liverpool?

Can't make Liverpool but I'm looking at the Hull match.

Mind you it's £137 return, on the train, and flight times aren't good.

National Express arrives in Sunderland at 5 minutes to kick off

Who would you say is to blame?
stefan schwartz getting stuck into mackems. i'd like to think i can come on a sunderland board and get information about sunderland without someone dishing out shit about the clubs fanbase.

i like what you did there.

No just the ones whos every post drips venom towards all thing Shields for no apparant reason.

It's because they are spamming the board with shite usually, that and the fact most of them never commented until the club came back to shields and got massive investment from GT.

Look at the title of the board mate it is the "Sunderland Message Board". I have nowt against them personally but they should definitely have their own board, failing that a sub forum.

I have a choice between £40 each way for Liverpool on the train or a bus that leaves at midnight and gets in at 5am. I might just take the train.

Long way and a lot of money just to sit with a load of Sandies. ;-)

Should I put you down for a yes then

Rarely if ever venture into sunderland. Shithole of a place barring the SOL.

It is and it's still 20 times the place South Shields is.

I don't know why the board don't just create a separate non-league section for them.

Then they can chat about DogShite United v CatPiss FC all day long without the bickering.

One of weekly pleasures is reading the countless 'unbiased' match reports from club secretaries that are printed in the Non League Paper. A few years back, an apparent 5-4 thriller with a last minute winner for the away side was given just two stars. You have to applaud such an inventive way to show how pissed off you were. Or, more unlikely, the match was truly shite that just happened to have nine goals.

Non league is great. A forum is well overdue. I'd name it in honour of Laputian as he played a pretty high level of non-league, the Gola League, which is the Vanarama Premier these days.

Will always be the Vauxhall Conference to me like

I'm not arsed either way to be honest with you. Any Shields threads that pop up I generally don't click on.

If it leaves the Shields lot alone and stops those who are bothered from posting in the thread, antagonising and perpetuating a situation, then aye all for it.

Conversely, if it keeps posters like Stefan, from needing anger management sessions then aye.

these shields ubers are like the corbynites on the politics forum. delicate as fuck and get offended by everything. they fail to see that people can have a different view, and may not agree with them.

I think it's funny how some appear to be almost turning their back on Sunderland for S. Shields. It didn't take much did it? The OP's avatar

I suppose they're living up to their name.
