Was way better with the way the stripes were yesterday. Should have been how the seats were done to save the sections looking absolutely shite as the seats don't line up properly.

Admittedly not fan of waving bits of paper about but the surfer and the banners were class. Just need surfers to cover the other stands now!

Flags are the priority now. Going to create a red and white wall once we’ve raised enough money.

Why so close to kick off though, most the kids are there for awhile. If they want to do stuff like that then maybe have it 20 minutes before kick off instead of the likes of the White Stripes which was played yesterday and get the kids hyped up when most people are still coming in or are in the concourse etc. Just out of place to me.

Tbf they are the 2 obvious examples. Admittedly some of the mag ones have been very good so it's good that we're doing it as well. Sheff Wed was brilliant, but yesterday was better again. I hope they become a more regular feature now. The players fed off the crowd for the 1st half hour yesterday before it became obvious that Coventry have a better team than we do.
 
I also don’t understand why everyone outside of the south stand and SWC is allergic to singing.

We must be one of the only grounds in the whole country where 3/4 of the ground flat out refuse to create any noise.

Forget all the flags, banners, surfers & placards, if the rest of the ground sang a few songs the place would be electric.

The Sheffield Wednesday atmosphere and today's were arguably the best in many many years at the stadium of light. As a fan, why wouldn't you want to experience something like that more often? Isn't it part of the whole matchday experience?

Car crash of a thread this like. If you didn't donate anything and think you've got an opinion / say in how these lads spend the money then you're an entitled brat. These lads give up so much of their own time to create an atmosphere in the ground, which is much needed as 3 sides of the ground flat out refuse to make a noise.

If you've got nothing nice to say, and didn't even contribute in the first place then you need to keep it zipped.

Is this not the result of having a dedicated singing section?
I agree, atmosphere outside of the singing sections is an absolute non starter, unless we are winnig comfortably, people don't join in and when they do songs peter out after 5 seconds.
I guess loads will disagree but would it no be best to spread those around the ground who are willing to make an atmosphere? It may help to get more people involved

I agree to an extent but 12 o’clock kick off on a Sunday morning is always going to be flat unless it’s a derby match.

If we’d have been chose for the Friday night match the atmosphere would have been ten times better.
