For about 30 mins
The missing players is a compounding problem. And replaced with three players valued at £20m apeice. I feel sorry for you. And your two missing wingers would probably not have scored that goal.
Cirkin, Hume, Adingra, Rigg and Geertruida out. With a full side who gets dropped then ?
In the 15 point season, Minutes 1 to 3,420 were excrutiating......Mins 45 to 80 were excruciating
Masuaki and one of the wingers would not have been playing (unless you drop Le Fee) Diarra has been injured for months and would have been a sub. Ballard injury has nothing to do with AFCON so in reality 4 first team players missing for AFCON with two of them replaced with £20m Geertrudia and £20m Adingra.
More made up trollop like.Masuaki and one of the wingers would not have been playing (unless you drop Le Fee) Diarra has been injured for months and would have been a sub. ExactlyIn arguably the biggest game of our season, just before AFCON, Talbi and Traore both started.
It’s good when opposition supporters come on here. Nice to get the different perspectives of how other teams are doing etc. But I personally wouldn’t go on a Leeds forum and start posting about their team selection as if I knew what I was talking about when I didn’t mind![]()
Please expandMassive window coming up soon. We have enough survive but it depends on what the club want? Push for top half etc the we need reinforcements
Yes. In the long run, I'd include Diarra as another first 11 player as well.Cirkin, Hume, Adingra, Rigg and Geertruida out.
Reinildo, Ballard, Talbi, Traore and Sadiki in.
I would say that's been our typical starting 11.
Get a f***ing gripMins 45 to 80 were excruciating
Toppa postThe missing players is a compounding problem.
1. Ballard, Sadiki, Reinildo, Diarra are absolutely nailed-to-the-wall first choice, and some of the best players at the club.
2. Talbi, Traore have been our most used wingers this season. Both gone.
3. The current list of unavailable players is Ballard, Reinildo, Onien, Alese, Masuaku, Sadiki, Diarra, Talbi, Traore. That means that not only are 5 or 6 first choice players unavailable, but some of the players we would rotate in for them are ALSO unavailable.
4. Because of #3 we've had play a barely-fit Cirkin, who hadn't played a minute of first-team football since the playoffs through injury. We've had to play Geertruida in CM, rather than using him in his natural position as a Ballard replacement, which in turn would've allowed Mukiele to stay RB, Hume to go LB and not have to bring in Cirkin from the cold. We couldn't even go to a back 5 today either, with Onien suspended, Ballard injured, Geertruida in MF, and 2 defenders at AFCON and Alese injured. We literally did not have a defensive option on the bench, other an academy bairn whose never kicked a professional ball.
We played Chris Rigg (our probably 5th choice CM) as our starting RW because Talbi, Traore are both unavailable, and Mundle is just back from long-term injury and isn't fit enough to start games. We could have played Le Fee out LW and moved Adingra RW, but we couldn't because Le Fee had to play CM because 2 of our 3 first choice CMs are at AFCON.
5. Our bench was completely f#cked, because almost everyone that would normally be on it, was either on the pitch or unavailable.
All of this, and we've taken 2 points from Brighton away, and an impossible task against the Yorkshire Globetrotters.
Brobbey scores the header and we probably win. Fine margins.I’d have took a point the second I saw the team sheet tbh
Like most of our games tbh.Brobbey scores the header and we probably win. Fine margins.
Like most of our games tbh.
I thought you were ok today. DCL is a handful but it seems you are arguing from a point of view which is clearly not correct. There is probably no way a fit Diarra would be on the bench. We were depleted today that doesn't take away it was a good point and to be fair Brobbery should have made it two. If you play like that and DCL stays fit you should be fineMasuaki and one of the wingers wouview ld not have been playing (unless you drop Le Fee) Diarra has been injured for months and would have been a sub. Ballard injury has nothing to do with AFCON so in reality 4 first team players missing for AFCON with two of them replaced with £20m Geertrudia and £20m Adingra.
Exactly unless you are going to play 3-4-3 you can't have Sadiki, Xhaka, Diarra, Le Fee, both wingers and a striker playing, but apparently I don't know what I am talking about.Yes. In the long run, I'd include Diarra as another first 11 player as well.
I don't know if it's coaching or a mentality but we seem to have mastered winning games in moments rather than whole 90 minute performances. I agree we've been doing it since RLB came in, but definitely since the Cov playoff games. It’s been a magnificent season beyond wildest dreams. But if I’m getting greedy…. I’d like one or two more comfortable wins, especially at home. Just killing the game a bit when we get good chances or get on top.
We didn’t have many of those under Le Bris in the Championship either in fairness. His set up and tactical nous seems to rely on the small margins. Can’t complain though!
You're about as good as Chris Sutton with these predictions, marra. Keep it up.Agreed. We will come about 15th which I assume everyone is ok with. City smash us in the next game and we’ll lose at spurs and Brentford. Anyone who thinks we can do better after today’s crap isn’t honest with themselves !
