Nilson Angulo

I can’t understand why we decided to keep Wilson in January assuming the interest and fees banded around for him then was true. RLB doesn’t want to use him and by keeping him we’ve probably halved his sell on value in the summer.

Our wingers are a real concern. We’ve spent a lot on those cumulatively and we are getting very little back on that investment.
Just a guess mind but I suspect they are a somewhat longer term investment than your comments imply.

Because the fees reported for isidor will be a load of shite. Hes rubbish.

Couldn’t beat his man and gave away several unnecessary fouls.

Obviously looked better on the box, i thought he was bang average.

He had effort and was definetly one of our better performers

Only a few games in but would give him a chance

Rather him than Talbi who is rarely in the game

Thought he caused them a few problems today, ran out of steam a bit towards the end

Best player first half by a mile

Second half was poor.

His foul in injury time coupled with xhaka whacking a cross over the bar, oh and our new keeper punting it out for a throw in unchallenged.

We're still fishing around in that 10-20 million pool, which in today's market still gets you some rock solid defensive players but unfortunately gets you naff all 90% of the time when it comes to attacking talent due to the premium put on them. It's showing this season where we have unearthed some gems at the back end of the pitch but none of the attacking players have exactly set the world alight, with Brobbey as the exception

Yep.
