Nightmare Scenario

they'll celebrate like they've won the FA cup if they finish above us.

imagine if we get into europe AND finish 5 points above them. the footballing gods need to make this happen, just for the meltdowns. i'll spend the entire bank holiday monday consuming mag social media if its happens
I can safely say if we end up in Europe and five points clear of them you won't see a single Mag posting online.

They will literally go no where near social media. lol
It’ll be irrelevant as I genuinely think we’ll beat Chelsea.
Our fans will be like the 12th man on Sunday and will generate an absolutely electric atmosphere.
Its gonna be electric. I'm just hoping the team can stay focused and not do a Forest.

I don't think I've ever been more nervous for a game than I have this one. Not because of the Mags finishing above us but because the prize is Europe. I never in my life thought we would be here.

I’m not convinced Howe would want European football next season tbh. From a financial point of view, it won’t cover the losses from missing out on the champions league and they will still need to sell.

From a footballing point of view, I think he will be desperate to focus on the domestic stuff to save his job.

That said, they will celebrate like they have won the Champions league if they finish above us on Sunday. Just shows how far we have come in a year

I'd be absolutely distraught if the club that had to sell it's soul to the Saudi state, that's spent nearly a billion pound finishes above us ffs

All we'll have left is our ethical two wins over them

aye let them crack on. it will be embarassing for them but they have zero self awareness. bought out by saudi arabia, spending £100millions on players, and the best they can hope for is to finish above us by 1 point. at which point they'll celebrate it and take to social media as if they've just won the FA cup as a non league team
Sad bastards, they’re so special it’s f***ing hilarious.

This scenario is my fear, but i've realised it would still be pathetic if the mags were to celebrate taking until the last game of the season to overhaul is after all the "we are operating at a different level" craic over the last few years.

As much as I'd love to see the relegation battle go down to the final day, if Spurs handily beat Chelsea tonight then Chelsea might not be up for it on Sunday. They'll be left with a very long shot at Europa Conference - hardly motivating for them - plus a few players focussed on avoiding injury ahead of the WC.
