aye let them crack on. it will be embarassing for them but they have zero self awareness. bought out by saudi arabia, spending £100millions on players, and the best they can hope for is to finish above us by 1 point. at which point they'll celebrate it and take to social media as if they've just won the FA cup as a non league team

Yes I don’t care myself, the season has been fantastic and I’m focussed on us. Be amazing to get Europe but whatever will be will be

Focus just needs to be on us, and the tough game we're going to be involved in. Pretty much every time fans have gotten too cocky about a win, we've been put on our arses.

Chelsea will be favourites going into Sunday, so bollocks to what's going on around us, and let's just make sure we give a good account of ourselves.

Some poor results this year may come back to haunt us, but all the lads can do now is put everything into that game on Sunday.

depending on which chelsea turn up, they can very easily give us the run around if we aren't careful.

the last two performances by us, in games we weren't expected to win, have been fantastic. we need to match that
 
Nightmare to me is my daughter saying she is going to be changing her name to Yaxley Lennon, however in football matters this season has been a dream come true for most
It’s no shame to finish below a team that spent over 250m in summer and several hundred in a few seasons prior after we were just promoted
Being only 1 point ahead ( if it happens ) is to their shame

It's up to us to win ultimately. If we don't win enough games, we don't deserve Europe or to finish above that lot. If we win, we will finish above them and almost certainly will get into Europe (we'd be pretty damn unlucky if both United and Liverpool lost). You get what you deserve in football - up to us to go out there and deserve it.

Just saying that some are talking like it's an easy win and are turning their attention to the other games when we have it all to do ourselves.

Were capable of blowing hot and cold ourselves. The recent performances have been very good and encouraging for Sunday, but it's not going to be easy. Hopefully, us fans can play a big part and get them over the line.

its difficult not to look at the other fixtures and think of all the connotations. but aye, we need to win and thats 99% of the job done
 
Lets say they did. So what just remember this, it trumps anything they do this season. This hurt them way more. A billion quid to finish 8th, possibly on goal difference 😂

If 1 happens, 4 will be guaranteed to happen, and there's a very good chance of 2 happening, and maybe even 3 happening too.

The win is needed of course.
 
It’ll be irrelevant as I genuinely think we’ll beat Chelsea.
Our fans will be like the 12th man on Sunday and will generate an absolutely electric atmosphere.

Don't give a fuck what the mags do either. But if I did I would quite enjoy them trying to gloat but being unable to disguise how fewmin they are not to be in the Champions League AND then struggling in the league because their shonky squad can't handle domestic and European football at any level
 
What were the last day scenarios in Reidy's two 7th placed finishes? Apart from that this Sunday is a unique situation for us. Plenty of last day drama in other seasons but it could be something totally new we witness this weekend.
