Mansfield were 23rd in League 2 after 14 matches. They are now up to 3rd. Won 14, drawn 3 and lost just once since then. Canny run.

Shame we couldn't put such a run together in one of our League 1 campaigns. Really that is exactly what Sunderland Football Club should be capable of in this division with a bigger budget than most clubs.
 


Longstaff is an amazing loan. He could have been loaned to a Championship side. I hope they do well solely because of their manager. Great player and a very humble man.
He could beat us with a side of blind alcoholics and he would still not gloat but he still express a concern about our situation. You can see in Nigel how much Brian loved us

I’ve mentioned it before but a big budget can be part of the problem.

Yes done a absolutely fantastic job. Had horrendous injuries throughout the squad for virtually first half of the season. He always said to the fans don’t panic. Watched game last night and played really well as did Exeter who look a good side.

He's a top lad. When he was Burton manager he went and sat with some Sunderland fans behind the dugout, during the game, just to have a bit crack on
