Nick Woltemade

Looks a great player, admittedly over a small sample of games.

I have to say when Isaak left the mags it would be a difficult job to replace him, but they look like they have more than did that. So my question is how long before one of the big boys come in and buy him.
My mates call him 'the plank' but he looks decent to me. They'll be launching throw ins to him v us but I'm sure Dan can handle him

It's early days, Fletcher was prolific for us after signing but didn't do much else, will be interesting to see if he can keep it up. Looked lost against Northern Ireland when I watch him the other night, Ballard dominated him.
that's good to hear

Hes a strange one. No pace, strength, physicality. I don't think centre backs will have nightmares about facing him but he's got a great touch and despite not being strong in the air his height makes him awkward and certainly at the moment knows where the back of the net is.
Very Crouch-esque, could be a Berbatov if he develops well but if he gets to that level of player he'll be off to Bayern.

We want him to be shit, but let’s be honest: he’s not.

He looks a totally unique player. He is going to be a success, his touch is excellent, he uses his physique well and he is a good finisher. Afraid that’s quite the package.

Doesn’t seem to be doing them much good though, their midfield seems quite porous this year and that means it’s easier to get at their slow defence. If we played them tomorrow, I’d be quite confident that our midfield would outwork them and Isidor would match up well against them.

Keeping Woltemade quiet will be the biggest challenge of the derbies though. Sorry, lad does look good.

He does but did you watch the NI game? He looked clumsy and hardly got a kick out of Ballard.

Fingers crossed he's found out, nullified and goes through a poor spell. Tall, skinny players often pick up knocks as well, as don't tend to be as durable.

Hate to say it but he looks excellent, Quinny like touch, more than decent with the ball and scores. Shame they didn’t get some of their earlier targets because it didn’t look like he was anywhere near their first choice.

Could say the same thing about us. We could have had bulka or petrovic and lucumi instead of roefs and alderete.
