Nick Woltemade

Saw him in the U21's and thought he looked good - was gutted when they bought him.

But I remember feeling the same when they bought Michael Owen and look how that turned out.

He's looking good right now but he needs a much better team around him to reach his potential. I mean, Jacob Murphy FFS.
He is probably the reason Woltemade will get so many goals. Any chance he gets hes whipping the ball into the box, and it catches defenders out. I dont rate him, but what he is doing currently is very effective and will only benefit having a giant on the end of them

Benfica captain Nicolas Otomendi should give him a very hard game.I wonder if he’ll score or even last the whole 90 minutes.

He’s not bad Murphy tbf. Underrated. Way better than Elanga who is a glorified speed merchant.

To be fair I actually think the lad looks class and hope he does well up until December to give the false hope.

Hoping he’s in a papis cisse purple patch were everything he touches ends up as a goal, that one against NI was lucky as fuck he went up flinching at the header and it went in off his shoulder

Said it before and I'll say it again, once premier managers/coaches suss his game out then he won't do anything. Still early days for him let's see what he's like against very good defenders like we have. Won't get a sniff

Seems a guaranteed goal. When word started making it's way through the ground that they'd equalised on Saturday it was just a given it would be him.

Isak looks like he couldn't buy a goal either. Some good business done judging on their form so far.

I'm hoping they don't get relegated this season so hopefully he can carry them for a while.

Scored a lovely goal yesterday
Thought the goal Rigg scored against the Boro was better, as far as back heelers, good touch but it wasn't the goal of the season the Mags are making it out. Agree, his lack of pace is an issue for them. Interesting how he gets on, despite Isak not setting the world on fire at Liverpool, I know who I would want up front and it isn't Woldermort or whatever he is called.

You can't argue with the goals he's scored, if he keeps getting 1 in 2 in all competitions then nobody will criticise him.

But in general play I think this lad has looked like a passenger every time I've seen him. He looks slow, lacks mobility, can't run in behind, can't win duals. Despite being so tall he doesn't use his body well to win headers. He looks more suitable to play as a 10 but they're using him as a 9. Wissa Will make a big difference when he's back.

Said it in the match thread.

He’s a German Connor Wickham. He’s had his purple patch now.
