Nick Pope

Always smoke & mirrors with them, they had a couple of head injuries last/this season and both players had to leave the field and be substituted, however, none of them had the mandatory 10 day absence, ruling out concussion after being "assessed" by their own club Dr's afterwards...think one was midweek and he was back at the weekend.

Few weeks later we had Alderete out for about 2-3 weeks with concussion 🤔
Spot on! Pope will be in goal on Sunday after being dropped/ Groin injury

Pope was never injured in the first place ,Howe lied because he was under pressure to drop him
Seemed a very convenient injury coinciding with Pope’s loss of form and the clamour to drop him.

I fully expect Pope to play on Sunday.

There once was a man named nick
He was a little bit thick
He couldn’t stop the ball
He blamed Lewis hall
But in reality he’s just a dick

Pope is prone to howlers but Ramsdale has the entire defence looking over their shoulders shitting themselves and wondering where the fuck he is, is he awake, is he picking his nose or swinging on the cross bar?.. I hope it’s Ramsdale.

In certain situations yes but there’s been plenty of times I’ve watched them where the attacker has the clear option to slot it either side but seems to kick it right at him instead

Again, look at Roefs against Villa. And Palace. That happened multiple times. Its good positioning

Or staring out a pigeon

RIp Nick.

60 no age.

On 12 February 2026, Pope published a statement on his X account that he had been diagnosed with stage IV esophageal cancer, which had metastasized to his liver. Pope died at his residence in Tucson, Arizona two months later on 6 April.
You’ve quoted yourself to add context, and I still haven’t a clue what you’re going on about
