A club legend who loves Sunderland or a man whose love lies with Man City

*I had this conversation with another Sunderland fan yesterday and was amazed with his answer

He said that Quinn's true love lies with City and he can't be trusted. He based this on Quinnys co-commentary on a Man City game

 why do we need to trust him now?

I hope the conversation ceased soon after.

The bloke can love whoever he wants, the fact is...actions speak louder than words, what he done for this club will never be forgotten and he'll always be loved, so fuck if he prefers man city, move on...he has!

He learned his trade at Arsenal.
Became a footballer at Manchester City.
But Sunderland got under his skin.
He loves Sunderland.

I always trusted on him to act on what he believed was best for the club. Obvioulsy he made mistakes, who doesn't?

true, cant understand why anyone would doubt his commitment to us tbh, in fact you should have kicked the fellas lungs out for suggesting it;)

His opinion, just wondering if anyone else shares it.

I think Quinny is full of Irish blarney and would be a good commentator for all the clubs he has been connected with. He could have taken his Irish consortium to City and didn't so I would say he prefers us over them.
