Niall Huggins.

He did look good in the few games he played. That goal c Watford was as outstanding.
Sadly, he’ll probably never get another chance here with Mukiele, Geertruida and Hume in front of him.

Yeah he did look good aye, not saying that, but there was no basis to say he was better than Cirkin and Hume he just isn't is he.

Not sure he was ever a premier league player mind

Overrated IMO, was always bang average at best when he played. Hume has been a solid international footballer since he was 20. He has had a terrible time with injuries though.

Not true mind, he showed real glimpses of quality when fit. His goal against Watford for example was top draw.

Injuries have well and truly fucked him unfortunately. Hope he gets a decent run, some confidence and can make a decent career for himself.

I think Higgins had a higher ceiling than Hume or Cirkin tbh but his body wasn't up for it. You can't play 5 games or less and have a year out consistently and develop fully. He done well enough to come back and was possibly our best player when he did but then he was out for another year and eventually that catches up with you.

Unfortunate for the lad but if he had played consistently there's a good chance he woul shave been far better than what we seen of him.

Plenty players have showed glimpses of quality - Ba and Connolly both scored decent goals, but they are way off the players we have now. One thing he was blessed with was pace, and his injuries have screwed him over in that respect. Just don't think he would ever have been a PL full back, even if he stayed injury free his full career. Hope he still manages to forge a decent career for himself though in the lower leagues.
