Remember the Lonsdale home shirt being released for sale after the season had started? (IIRC) The black away shirt was on sale first but we had to wait for the home shirt

That was because Diadora pulled out of their contract after the season had finished because their agent went bust IIRC (or was it that Mike Ashley lost his license to provide Diadora kits?)

Lonsdale took over last minute. We’d already voted on the away kit so they knocked up something similar in their templates but had to start on the home kit from scratch.

Agree. We’ve done the retro thing now. Maybe a nice old timey feel to the third kit with a collar and classic badge, but otherwise let’s have brand new future classics.

I imagine you will be able to buy the one with the plain back as an authentic version
