What's your thing with Everton mate? Not having a go, genuine question, I thought you were and Everton fan on here until recently.
Liked them since the mid 80s growing up as a glory supporting kid they were a topflight club to like and as you've noticed still like them now. Got good mates who are Evertonians and have been to games with them in the away ends at The Riverside, St James Park as well as visiting Goodison. The only time I want them to lose during a season is against us.

We will get 18 points and Gus will win manager of the month.

Can't abide pessimism.

Sunderland 2-1 Spurs
West Ham 1-1 Sunderland
Sunderland 2-0 Norwich
Everton 3-1 Sunderland
Cardiff 0-0 Sunderland
Sunderland 2-2 Aston Villa

There ya ga.

Whats even better is looking forward to January's fixtures, by the end of Jan we should be well out of the relegation zone.

I initially thought that, but decided to go the otehr way round. We will draw spurs and beat West Ham... But I have been wrong from time to time.

Realistically we need 8-9 points...theres a gap to close....other clubs will be looking at 6 points minimum.

I think this month and March are the deciding months:

March
Sat 01 15:00 H West Brom
Sat 08 15:00 A Liverpool
Sat 15 15:00 H Crystal Palace
Sat 22 15:00 A Norwich City
Sat 29 15:00 H West Ham United[DOUBLEPOST=1386260487][/DOUBLEPOST]
Spurs (h) - 1 pts
West Ham (a) - 3 pts
Norwich (h) - 3 pts
Everton (a) - 0 pts
Cardiff (a) - 1 pt
Villa (h) - 3 pt

You just copied off me ;)

hadn't seen yours when I posted!
Great minds think alike... fools rarely differ

In Jan I think we will pick up 7 or 9 points:

Home to Villa
Away to Fulham
Home to Southampton
Home to Stoke

Add that to around 8 from the rest of December and things will be looking good

We're bottom of the league, regularly get beat by the teams in the bottom half of the table and keep coneeding loads of goals.

Anyone who thinks we'll get 12 points from the next 6 games is insane.

Big test. Traditionally it's at this point that the usual suspects, having secured their place in yet another manager's team, begin to slack off.

We should be looking to win at least two of the three home games and two out of the three away are possible too.

Agree. Some people are crackers on here! No way will we get even 10 points over those games.
