It's not as simple as that though, if that's how it worked we'd need to take 16 pts from 24 against Leicester, Leeds, Southampton and Ipswich.( we've already dropped 6 against them)
If you don't take the points there you need to make them up Elsewhere.

Three winnable games mean 9pts should be the target.

8th in both the home form table (with 5 wins) and the away form table (with 3 wins).

Of those defeats at home:

Ipswich - unlucky to not get a point
Cardiff - couldn’t break them down and conceded a soft set piece
Boro - down to 10 men

Not really been convincingly beat (11 v 11) at home this season so far like. Yet to play Leeds & Leicester though.

We wouldn't need to do that at all. As we won't be finishing in the top 2. 70+ points will be enough for the play offs

IMHO Leicester will definitely finish top 2 they have the best squad in this division and so they should.

I have a feeling Leeds and possibly Southampton will also be in the mix.

Leicester will win the league, 2nd place is up for grabs.
Leeds and Southampton (who we've already beaten) are 5 pts ahead with 90 pts to play for.
On our day we can beat anyone, we should be targeting 2nd place.

We're not consistent enough to finish top 2. That's the problem with having such a young squad I'm afraid
