If you mean by playing football then I'd have said yes based on last nights first half. "If" you'd had a centre forward last night then with Gordon on the left your two wingers were, and would have, ripped liverpools fullbacks apart all night. With 11 men you were on top most of the first half and created numerous openings/chances. Konate and Kerkez have looked average at best early season and your three in the middle were quite honestly taking the p*ss out of the two from Liverpool.
You resorted to (had to) those tactics in the second half because of Gordons stupidity. He ran all over the pitch for a good 30 seconds or so chasing the entire Liverpool back 4 on his own before being unable to resist diving in.
