There may be trouble ahead......

Hello and welcome to the live blog for Friday, May 31.

The Bin Zayed Group remain confident they have the funds to complete a takeover but the Magpies and the Premier League have yet to comment. is understood to still be waiting for an official bid from Sheikh Khaled.

This further complicates an already delicate summer. contract expires in a month's time but the Spaniard refused to address his future or the takeover saga during an interview in Madrid ahead of the Champions League final.

The Newcastle boss met with club chiefs in a secret location in London earlier this month.
pile of shite, last night they had agreed a price and notified the league/FA. Now Ashleys waiting for a bid. Nothing adds up, I'm calling bullshit.

The division 3 obsession with the Strawberry is odd. Old men real ale enthusiasts, and the usual batch of Chinese tourists on a matchday. No lads or lively match attendees would consider it. Especially if it became a mosque.
I was referring to it's elevation as some sort of utopia in the earlier article I posted, I know many a skunk and none of them seem to go in there

and there was a video of the same pub sitting watching SAFC posted elsewhere too

So these Arabs could be the time wasters the Liverpool press said they were ... Even if they are it'll be Ashleys fault just like it was when time waster Staveley had her 5mins of fame a year ago

I am thinking this also, nothing has added up since the beginning. I first thought, bullshit, then all the crap floating around thought,, hmm maybe, just maybe, got a tingle in my dingle. Now back to, bullshit.

Oh well that'll teach me to get excited lol should have known nothing good happens for us feckers in the north. :(

I must admit it is playing out like a soap opera. I personally think it will go through but then again I was quietly confident we would get promoted so I know sweet f a

lol Yeah it is a soap opera, nothing is ever straight forward for us is it!! I would have had you down for auto promotion too, certainly in 2nd place. Oh well, always next year, it's always, always next year lol.

So planes haven't turned up
No comment from club or premier League
The group have gone quiet

Sounds fishy but odd why they've done it if it's just for publicity.

Same reason as the Stavely woman and Kenyon. Strange breed these rich people.

I think Kenyon and Stavely were genuine just didn't have the money.

This bloke has the money. Really strange
Possibly, although that Stavely woman was just a front I believe, I think she was trying to drum up support, using the media. As someone mentioned earlier, I think Newcastle dodged a bullet with her. Kenyon would have been good though.

:eek::eek::eek:

Although it's just a daft laugh you have to say.:rolleyes:

Only about 200 million short of the club with the 6th highest income.

They're 200 million short in terms of turnover from spurs who are sixth. They are light years away from the top 6.
He did say 'earnings '

In fiscal terms this means profit.

Due to Fat Mike being a tight arse we were in profit to the tune of £20 odd m in the 2018 accounts.

Many clubs make a loss.

Huddersfield were in the top 6 profits - therefore I don't think you can read too much into it.

This could be what could hold anything up.
Ashley throughout his business career has shown himself to be a 'chips in' gambler.

WRT Newcastle:
Buying them without due diligence (and not realising that if the club was sold the company that funded the extension could call in the loan - something he could have found in the Newcastle Journal!)
And:
Spending £100 million on promotion when failure would have resulted in massive sanction (like QPR)
Both show he has no time the minutiae and he gambles to the point of recklessness.

Trying to negotiate lots of indemnity clauses with him would potentially be a nightmare.

For this to go through his advisors need to keep him as far away from the potential new owners as possible!
This is true.

He bought us on a whim before the books had been looked at by the accountants.

Fat Freddy and Dreadful Doug had hidden the 134m debt in the small print inn the Appendix

I honestly think he believes he was 'stiffed' in the deal to buy you, and he's been trying to chase the loss and recoup as much of the money he thinks he's been swindled out of in the gamble.

I think the desire to make NUFC self sufficient and profitable is all about that, but he's f***ing unpredictable beyond words and if he sells I think he'll want a completely clean break and no shared liability for any HMRC sanctions.

I think we both know he was meaning turnover.
