Hope it comes off and he is worse than Ashley who has ran them quite well IMO, kept them financially stable when so many other teams are falling apart because of mismanaged finances

I hope the awab man they get turns out to be a snake oil salesman like honest Abdul out of beau peep. They want to be careful of what they wish for, there’s a good chance they could end up looking back at the Ashley years as a f***ing golden age.

Here’s hoping

Craig hope on talksport now, saying that still reason to be cautious, sources saying no relation to the Man City owner, Couldn’t give proof of funds of 25 million deposit to Liverpool

Offer made to Liverpool wasn’t even worth presenting to Liverpool

For signing underage kids not for FFP breaches

It won’t. Because there is nothing stopping them obtaining fake sponsorship deals with companies that are “not owned by the owner, I promise” and pumping funds through such loopholes. What a coincidence that Man City and PSG are sponsored by a Middle Eastern Airline...

Anyone who believes that this FFP is in existence in anything but name only is kidding themselves. I have no idea about these owners and their intentions or anything, but if someone wanted to “do a Man City” there would be absolutely nothing to prevent it.

Even if you are right about FFP, they are too late to the party. With (i) No ECL: (ii) competition from 10+ clubs who can offer the same wages and ECL; (iii) location they will struggle to sign top players. In todays climate you could easily spend 250m + (look at Fulham, Everton, West Ham...) and achieve very little.

this awab man is a wrong un :D the gravy thickens

So he is in business with Tommy Suharto, the son of former Indonesian dictator, who in the year 2000 was sentenced to 18 months in jail for corruption and then 10 months later the judge who sentenced him was shot dead and Tommy was proven by the court to be the mastermind.

That's a good point. Teams like Man Utd and Arsenal aren't even guaranteed trophies anymore.
