Newcastle ufc (May 2019)

I think he wants to manage relatively close to his family home and managing nufc fits that criteria. He is on big money but would be wherever he manages such is his level. If it was all about money hed be in China. If it was all about money he'd have already signed a new deal.
But the caveat here is that he is on good money with low risk, where else will he get that? Top clubs would not afford him a decent tenure without bringing success. As I say win,win

He'd triple his wage in China. If he's on good money with low risk, why is he jeopardising it by not having signed a long term deal without insisting on conditions?

You really do have your head in the sand don’t you?
Why risk going to China and getting sacked, tarnishing his reputation when he can stay with you where he can do no wrong, getting top money managing an average side and supporters eating out of his hand? What choice would you make?

Sacked in China? If he got sacked he'd get get his contract paid up and it's all about the money I thought?

The fact is Benitez is enjoying his project at NUFC so you have to collectively convince yourselves that a) he's shit b) he has ulterior motives c) he can't get a better job d) you want him to stay e) you want him to leave f) his trophy wins weren't because of him g) that he wants to stay because he's so thin skinned and doesn't want a bigger job in case he gets criticised.

And I'm the one with my f***ing head in the sand?

you've already said it suits him managing you lot as he's relatively close to his family, he's hardly going to go to China if being close to them is one of the deciding factors.

Where did I say he was shit?
Do you believe that he can get/want a better job?
I am not interested if he stays or goes
His trophy wins were in the past, long before he came to you. Confined to history
Yes, I believe that. And I repeat he is in a win/win position with you

And btw your head is in the sand and use of emojis makes me believe you are rattled

Come on, if there'd been any links it would have made a 14 page spread in the cronic, if only to cement his negotiations with Ashley.

I've seen him linked with PSG and Celtic in just the last couple of weeks.

Aye I've seen loads of stuff linking him with other clubs.... oh wait

If he was any good he wouldn't be at Newcastle ffs

Keep repeating until true

It's a bit like arguing with a Brexit voter. All the logic and common sense rendered irrelevant by an entrenched position

Have you ever heard the saying “slowly, slowly catchy monkey”.
Re-read our conversation, you really have dropped a clanger, proof 100% mag! Have a good evening
Hook, line, sinker or checkmate if you prefer

No, sounds racist.

i remember the Quayside before the TWDC pumped money into the area. The only pubs down their were The Cooperage, Crown Posada, Newcastle Arms and The Red House. All deserted, surrounded by derelict warehouses. A right tip.
I had a spectacular night in the Cooperage one time when I was about 19 years of age.
