Getting slightly off thread but I find that massive screen in the middle of The Galleries showing BBC news 24 with subtitles and Shakespeare's All the world's a stage quote on the adjacent wall a bit sinister.no ones walking around looking at their phones in their hand
You just see more awful things as there's more places to see it, constant news channels with nothing else to report on, the internet. 24 hours a day, every day.
I'm convinced Benitez and Ashley are not at loggerheads at all, the situation would have come to a head long before now . I think its suits both of them to keep up this 'good cop/bad cop' routine which keeps the fans onside and allows the pantomime villain to get along season after season without spending any of the Sky millions that keep pumping into the club. The Almoron fee was funded by a bank loan, so he hasn't even had to dip into his pocket at all, meanwhile he is slowly recouping his money from the club and still stands to make his 300 million profit if he can sell. The muppets who spent more than half the season trying to arrange protests and demonstrations ( then suddenly abandoned the campaign despite achieving nothing) have once again been duped into silence by Ashley and Benitez taking out a chucky loan on a MLS journeyman who hasn't shown any sign of being able to cut it in the PL, apparently the Atalanta fans were pissing themselves laughing after taking 21 million quid from Newcastle. So Benitez will sign his new contract, he will confirm that he has had new money promised , then Ashley will backtrack again, the whole saga will begin again, Benitez will be on his huge salary for the next 5 years, Ashley will continue to bleed the club funds and keep trying to sell the club, and the real victims, the fans , will continue to twist and moan ( and protest) while still handing over their money every week, and as long as they finish one place above the bottom 3, nothing will change. The various protest groups have completely bottled it, everything they've done has had no impact at all, how f***ing sad is that? Its so obvious they are being manipulated, there's no way that Benitez isn't complicit in Ashleys grand plan. There's literally nothing on their horizon. Nothing.
There's only Rondon on loan that has played regularly isn't there? And I suspect he'll be signing for them if Benitez does stay
Kind of proving the point. It's 'park the bus' only when circumstances dictate such. Pragmatism
He made a city smile again iirc. Can't put a price on that![]()
It’s way more credible than anything you numb twats could come up with in a million years of trying. You've made that up![]()
School? Education is as alien to them as soap, salad, and common sense marra. When you go to school tomorrow will you be regaling all the other little maglets with tales of how you “took on the SMB and won”?

Ashley and the waiter both perfectly happy with the status quo for obvious reasons

meh, "look! he must be world class, everyone wants him!" in reality he has done nothing since stepping down to Newcastle to suggest he deserves a promotion to a major club.
a NUFC season ticket holder who works for Barclays.
presume what you f***ing want, they got him on the chucky, so the club have to make the repayments, Ashley wouldn't pull out the money for Almoron.I presume he told you exactly how much it was for as well?
