Who writes that shite? They've got McNeil from Burnley in holding midfield, Willems who I just looked up as a left back on the wrong side, Torres etc :lol:

Anyway, while the Mags will clearly progress, they can't spend huge amounts in a short space of time due to FFP can they? This won't be like Chelsea 2003.

I’ve got mates who were Newcastle fans in primary school in the mid to late 90s and only became Sunderland fans because their parents bought them part time season tickets at Xmas when we moved to the stadium of light. They deny to this day they ever supported the mags but they did, we will lose potential fans to Newcastle no doubt about it.

Local rivalry ? It’s going to be a long time before we play them again, they are a million miles away from us now, there’s nothing we can do about it, no point in worrying about it
