I still don't think Newcastle will score.

When Mitrovic was banned the Mags said he'd be 'a really bad miss' ..... after watching his effort last night I know what they meant

He is, as his hold up play is essential for the way we play. Just so happens he can't hit a cows arse with a banjo. Fucked basically.

We did the opposite to Newcastle, brought in some players and the team performed well but can we keep that going? I hope so. Newcastle were awful last night mind, I watched them and they weren't in the game I was expecting a much better performance than that. I hope the bad run continues for Newcastle, it only benefits us their test is the next home game after spending all that money they shouldn't have a problem but if they keep playing like last night then it might fall apart for them.

I think he is a good player and brings others into the game. Catch being he needs an out and out goal scorer alongside him.

Raising your game at home, against a top side is the easy part. I hope they play with as much intensity against the lesser sides.

It was a joke.
I would rather Newcastle go down.
Probably because I have never liked the culture at the football club though I believe once upon a time it was average (according to my dad and Len Shackleton).
In recent times NUFC have spent hundreds of millions of dollars on players who basically do not care. To be honest I would swap Ellis for Mike however.
Sunderland have always have had a better culture than NUFC (perhaps that's why you come here). But no silver ware in the cabinet either side of 73.
Should you want to want to change the games you go and watch try Sunderland. You'll feel slightly better.

What is this utter nonsense?

Dollars? You would swap Short for Ashley? Changing my games?

They were terrible and should have been 5-0 down, yet if Mitrovich converts that easy chance with 10 mins to go then it's 1-1 and anyone's game. Fine margins football, fine margins.

Fine margins in games but patterns develop, over a season, which is why they're in the bottom 3 despite spending huge amounts of money.

Newcastle have managed only managed 2 or 3 shots on target in their last couple of games which is something that often happens to them.

They've now only won 1 game in 9 iirc and that isn't a fine margin, it's their current form.

Their defence is shocking and they have no leadership on the pitch, certainly not off it.

The players rarely talk to each other on the pitch and look lost ....... always a bad sign, that's how they were the last time they went down.

You're starting to get me believing Reiver lad.

For all those who keep saying 'Newcastle will be fine', and those who don't, what score tonight?

Just like the last time they went down some have gone through pre-season then every month saying they'll soon click and jauntily move away from trouble ........ even after a gutless display at Watford, who were on a losing streak, people were saying they're too good to go down.

I'm saying 3-0 to Everton.

Are you the new ITK marra?:lol:
