For all those who keep saying 'Newcastle will be fine', and those who don't, what score tonight?

Just like the last time they went down some have gone through pre-season then every month saying they'll soon click and jauntily move away from trouble ........ even after a gutless display at Watford, who were on a losing streak, people were saying they're too good to go down.

I'm saying 3-0 to Everton.
0-1

Mags have scored less than us so ( 25 for them 28 for us ) cant understand how most of these predictions have them scoring goals.

Weird bastards .... 2-0 to the toffeessss

I'd love nothing more than for Newcastle to go down, they would suffer huge losses after spending the money they have but they simply won't go down. I'd expect them to climb the table now, they have enough quality to push up and they have been playing well without the additions brought in. I've seen a few of their matches and they've always worked as a team and played good attacking football and yes they're at the bottom but they don't deserve to be really on their performances. If we put in the same performances that we did yesterday I haven't got any worry about us, we have enough to stay up.

In typical Sunderland fashion, Newcastle win and add to our misery...if they get humped, I'm taking it as a sign that we're staying up and will smash Liverpool!

Id be surprised if Evertin dont score given Newcastles defence and Evertons attack. ill go Everton 3-1

they are, so are we

Interesting ......... I think they've only scored half a dozen goals in their last 16 away games or summat like that.

Don't get me wrong, I hope I'm wrong. Do they have a decent record at Everton? I seem to recall them getting a few results down there, they don't seem to have a fear factor when they play them for some reason. I can see them being on a high after a very good transfer window for their recent standards. They'll likely sell out their allocation off the back of the Shelvey/Townsend signings and be well up for it.

Everton have been poor of late. They're an inconsistent side and if the mags start the game well then I can see Everton rolling over.

No it stinks.

Quote,

"Everton have won five of their last six games against Newcastle, including the last two meetings. The Magpies have won only one of their last 12 league trips to Goodison Park (D3, L8) Newcastle have failed to score in three of their last four Premier League meetings with Everton."

You sure? I might be thinking too far back. I seem to recall Ben Arfa scoring a wonder goal down there on his debut. Perhaps it ended in a draw.

Everton's finishing was awful when I saw them against Swansea and if they play like that again I can the Mags winning.
Hopefully they hit the target tonight and beat them.

Good, let's hope their poor record continues.

Is Everton's new signing available to play?
