Try me. I'm genuinely interested to hear your opinion as to why you disagree with what I said
Okay. I will humour you, Newcastle have been to the ‘new’ Wembley and the new White Hart Lane. They haven’t played a Cup Final at the ‘new’ Wembley but have played many at Wembley, usually losing. No-one, other than the odd Sunderland fan, actually calls it new Wembley 😂

Yeah the reason we do is to highlight the fact that we've been there to watch our team in a final and you havent 🤣

Oh and my daughter was a newborn explosively pooing up the curtains the last time you beat us. Shes now in Middle School.

Hopefully the pooing up the curtains has stopped! 🤣🤣🤣

OK mate. I'm honestly missing the bit where I've apparently been made to look an idiot. The fact is you haven't been on a decent cup run since the late 90s and considering the fact that many Newcastle fans still consider them to be a big club, you would have expected one by now

I think the joint record of Newcastle and Sunderland in finals is something like lost 14 in a row. Baldy geezeers and combs spring to mind.😄

Next August marks a decade since our last defeat against them and Bruce was our manager! I hope we get them in FA Cup as Bruce always bottles the derbies! 😀

Must have missed that Wembley appearance in 2000. And a couple of decent runs in the UEFA Cup or whatever it’s called now. You’re not doing very well here Jack lad. Shouldn’t you be back at school now? Maybe there’s COVID in your bubble?

You seem desperate to win an argument, I'm stating what I consider to be facts. OK, you win on the UEFA cup, although i would say that the original discussion was on domestic cup runs culminating in visits to the rebuilt (better?) Wembley. So clearly 2000 is irrelevant. Tbh this discussion is getting a bit ridiculous but I'd respect your stance a lot more if you just admitted you'd like a visit to the new place along with 40,000 of your fans, just as any other fan probably would

What do you class as a decent cup run? Final, semi final, quarter final?

Of course we would, you’d also like trips around Europe and the new WHL.
Reaching Wembley is my point so we'll go with that. Semi-final
So 2000 doesn’t count. You said no decent cup run since late 90s. You’re all over the place here Jack lad.

Fair enough 2005 was the last time we got that far.

I don't get the significance of new Wembley with you lot though. It's Wembley stadium on the same site but redeveloped. Like tons of grounds were in the 90s after the Taylor report, unrecognizable to what they were before. Still the same ground though.

A completely new stadium. The only thing in common is the location.

I don't think I am mate - 2000 counts but not in the context of going to the new Wembley.

And yes trips around Europe would be lovely - that's pretty undeniable

The only reason anyone would ever say that is coz you haven't been on a cup run there. It is most definitely not the same ground

She’s become as obnoxious as the other one on there ?! There is absolutely nothing like that from any local presenters in NW. They report all teams even in lower leagues equally
Had to be seen to be believed. Even Mrs Rocks (No) noticed it and she has no interest in football whatsover.

Some at the BBC are decent but their mag core are repulsive.

Of course it is. Just like we can highlight the fact you have been to play league football in all kinds of grounds we have never set foot in on equal terms with the hosts.
