Here we gan, it's started

@xxSAFCMariaxx @Safc1879_ @KidWithEye what's fat head Sam done like you's are in this scrap aswell roll on 20th #Revenge

If Rafa takes over he will be the first manager I have quite liked of there's since Houghton. Assuming he doesnt go pandering to the fans like McClaren did.

One thing to note is that if he fails now he has to stay with them in the chammpionship... Real Madrid to Burton Albion in a matter of months!

If they do get Benitez it would be a coup, but its interesting to note that he might join them now, in their plight, the middle of a relegation scrap. Why couldn't they attract a manager of such 'calibre' in the close season before McClaren?

Because the board aren't interested in getting the best possible candidate to achieve the highest placed finish, it's only because Ashley's big payday is at risk that we are looking at a higher profile manager. If we could have ambled to a mid table finish under a cheaper option 100% that would be the course of action the board would take.

I've gone from wanting to push McClaren off a cliff to wanting to take the bloke out for a pint and give him a hug

Our club really are disrespectful tosspots
If Mcclaren thinks he has been treat so bad he should resign. We all know he won't though.

Anyone a bit concerned that with Tufty about to be sacked (once Sky Sports tell NUFC when to give him the chop) the new manager (whoever he is) "bounce" might just possibly influence the derby ...

Yeah, I'm a fanny when it comes to this. Too many seem over confident - tempting fate. I think we have used up our nine lives for avoiding relegation and it wouldn't surprise me if they had a sudden change in fortunes, upwards.

Best attitude for Sunderland fans going in to this - expect the worst, then owt else is a bonus.

I know what you should do, write to the club saying it's disgusting how they're treating him and ask them to give him another chance. Please just three more games
