Newcastle Manager Situation

Newcastle's next 4 games are ...... away to the league leaders, a derby in which they've lost 6 in a row followed by 2 away games in which they stink.

So that's 3 away games for a team that's quite often embarrassing on those games and a home game against a team desperate for points.

How many points does the panel think they'll get if Benitez comes in?
Between 5 and 7 in my opinion.

It actually says when translated LARRAÑAGA JOSEBA reports that Rafa Benitez will be the next coach NEWCASTLE the next 3 seasons.

He might have said after I see where you are at the end of this season
Who is that fella? And how many other posters do we have that listen to Spanish radio in the morning?! ;)

Why shouldn't we have hope, we've turned over a 6 point deficit, on Norwich & Newcastle since Christmas ...... around 11 weeks.

Seriously mate, if Newcastle had done that to us what would many people be saying?
I agree, but people are cautious when it's your own club and think the worst, especially when it's your closest rivals you are competing directly with.

It's from twitter. All you need to do is search Benitez and click translate to English. It's only one tweet, I wouldn't say "Spanish media".

I think a lot of people are intimidated by Newcastle for some reason ...... despite the last 6 games and their recent relegation.

I just find it a little weird tbh.

I would be alot more confident of we had another couple of points on the board.

I don't get the excitement about Benitez at all.

He had a superb record as of about 2007. Then it went a bit shit at Liverpool. Then he was sacked after 15 games at Inter Milan. Then he couldn't get a job for a year. Then he had a pretty ordinary 6 months at Chelsea. Then he was at Napoli for two years, during which they finished lower than the season before he arrived (and they have moved back up the table now he has left). Then he was sacked after 18 games at Real Madrid.

He has lots of big clubs on his CV, but he has done fuck all for 10 years - and hasn't ever been in a relegation battle.

They might get a bounce, and he isn't Steve McClaren, which is a shame, but I'm not convinced that his CV is any better than McClaren's tbh.

The mags at work have already got the Fat Spanish waiter turning Dutch Bardo, Taylor, Colo , Dummet, Colback, Anita, and the rest of their dogshit squad into world beaters
