It's truly incredible how some people are so desperate to believe Newcastle are just a tiny tweak away from flying up the table.

They have been consistently terrible all season, came very close to going down last time and are 2nd bottom with virtually the same poor squad.

In real life, and various boards, the Mags are screaming that the whole club is absolutely shite from top to bottom ...... even Shearer said it on national TV.

But the Magerati, on here, believe the return of the likes of Coloccini, Townsend and Mbemba will totally transform the team.

This despite the fact that those 3 have been involved in some of the most embarrassing displays seen in the Premier League this season, by any team.

Mbemba is an average player, he's not Beckenbauer ffs.

"New manager for Newcastle and, that's it, we're gone" ........ fuck off.
 
Benitez has been in charge of some of the world's biggest clubs in his last three jobs and achieved - nothing, being sacked from each. He'll piss his pants when he sees the quality of Newcastle's players.
I'd personally much rather him than the likes of Pearson who is used to working at that end of the table.

Jury most definitely out on him for me
 
Newcastle's next 4 games are ...... away to the league leaders, a derby in which they've lost 6 in a row followed by 2 away games in which they usually stink.

So that's 3 away games for a team that's quite often embarrassing on those games and a home game against a team desperate for points.

How many points does the panel think they'll get if Benitez comes in?
