Newcastle Manager Situation

I was talking about your best possible defence. Whatever you put out is shite.

You've a decent midfield on paper to be fair though

Janmaat Coloccini Mbemba Haidara is probably their first choice defence when all are fit, and I think only Coloccini could be considered worse than what we have. Their defensive problems are a combination of lack of depth and injuries, and are made to look worse because of their teams uncanny ability to spectacularly collapse on occasion

That first choice is absolutely shite, and 3 are currently injured  Haidara has managed about 20 starts in 3 years man

Sissoko - Wijnaldum - Shelvey - Colback - Townsend

Sissoko - Has been very poor this season and has a bad attitude

Wijnaldum - Has ability but goes hiding quite often

Colback - An average ginger crab

Shelvey - Has ability but is another that is lazy

Townsend - Has never had a good run of games in his career. Well unless you include Spurs' U21 side

Irrelevant point about them being injured. As I said, injuries and lack of depth is costing them. Their first choice back 4 when fit is better than ours

De Jong, Anita, Tiote, Aarons. Decent depth really. Too much in fact, given the lack of it elsewhere

First you are a new poster and obvious Mag, which I've no real issue with but you can drop the 'ours' and 'theirs' sh8t and just come clean.

Second - your defence is terrible and even more horrendous given how many of them are crocked and how bad your morale is. We have just signed a back-up defender who would go straight into your team as the best defender you would have on the pitch..

Leicester at the King Power is just about the worst match you could have to try to rebuild confidence as well...

Your midfield is bang average - Winaldjum and Shelvey are OK if they turn up - it is your best area to be fair.

Up front - we have guaranteed goals in Defoe. You have a bunch of strikers who can't score ...

Either of both of us could go down of course - but we have slightly more reason to hope we'll get out of it I think. We've caught up 6 points and a shedload of GD on you since Xmas and are now ahead of you with better GD - derby will be huge - but you just seem much more likely to bottle it than us at the moment..

Funny really. Our defence is better. And Defoe is better than Mitrovic. But they have the same points. Oh and our manager is better too. Everything is better except points.

It's very relevant being that your defence is shite AND injured. Not a good combination is it

And that "back up" midfield...
