First they have to remove him from the Board and find a replacement on same. That takes about two weeks at least. Then the new Board can take a vote to sack Tufty. :) The delay is understandable once we learn how board governance works up the road.

Took us until the Tuesday after the Saturday to sack Bruce iirc.. Was the same for Poyet I think.

Poyet was sacked on the Monday. I think the Bruce delay was something to do with Gary Speed topping himself, iirc.
 
Not every new manager bounce works I may be wrong but didn't BSA lose his first game for us against West Brom? Newcastle have showed nothing to suggest a new manager may improve results. The players themselves released a statement to say they are fully behind SMC. The problem seems to be 80 million pounds has been spent on an unbalanced team of mercenary players and SMC didn't really have a say on any off it.

True. In truth we were awful in mon's first game and have lost first game under all subsequent managers.
