It's a long meeting to tell him he's sacked
Well with a Carver amd a Shearer in the past ... how about Chopper Harris?Who have they got in like?
This is great news if its McClarens judgement and his decisions have been shocking. This might not be good news
#nufc are using an intermediary to find a new manager rather than relying on MD Lee Charnley. He is overseeing search rather than conducting
First they have to remove him from the Board and find a replacement on same. That takes about two weeks at least. Then the new Board can take a vote to sack Tufty. They also said the other day he didn't bother turning up for training. But he did.
He's on the board so maybe a little difficult to get rid.
No worries. Not as sharp as our All-A-Dice.Well with a Carver amd a Shearer in the past ... how about Chopper Harris?
Took us until the Tuesday after the Saturday to sack Bruce iirc.. Was the same for Poyet I think. Can't get my head around them not sacking him after Saturday. Surely then a new bloke has a longer spell with the players before the Leicester game. Unless of course they are writing that game off and starting with us. I still think a new manager bounce is about having a decent platform to work with. They are woeful at the back, nothing will change that.

No I agree but I would think it could only be a positive thing as far as the mags are concerned.
Aye, Shearer, Carver and Tufty worked a treat
Poyet was sacked on the Monday. I think the Bruce delay was something to do with Gary Speed topping himself, iirc.Took us until the Tuesday after the Saturday to sack Bruce iirc.. Was the same for Poyet I think.

True. In truth we were awful in mon's first game and have lost first game under all subsequent managers. Not every new manager bounce works I may be wrong but didn't BSA lose his first game for us against West Brom? Newcastle have showed nothing to suggest a new manager may improve results. The players themselves released a statement to say they are fully behind SMC. The problem seems to be 80 million pounds has been spent on an unbalanced team of mercenary players and SMC didn't really have a say on any off it.
It was, it wasn't until the Friday after the Wigan game he was sackedPoyet was sacked on the Monday. I think the Bruce delay was something to do with Gary Speed topping himself, iirc.
