Newcastle Manager Situation

If he is still there for the derby, when was the last time both teams had the same manager home and away in the same season? Must be a while since that happened?

Ffs, " John motson understands". Well it's nailed on then:rolleyes:.
Benitez
Not a chance in hell unless hes blown all his dough on tapas the fat bas####.
Can just see him working with colback, Anita, gouffran and dummett.

I didn't really mind Rafa but he seemed to rub a lot of other premier manager up the wrong way.
Watching his Liverpool side was as enjoyable as watching moyes' Everton, and he had top quality to work with, not shite.

How many games where left when Shearer was brought in to give the "new manager" bounce? And how far behind were they when he arrived?

They were infront

He had 8 games and only won 1 (against Boro).

Nice one mate.

"When Shearer, to roars of approval, took over in the first week of April United were 18th, over those final 8 games they failed to turn it round."

Hes a builder not a guy that gets a huge transformation.
Was he not the Everton boss when they stayed up last day with a 3-2 win over Wimbledon ???
Think that was before he took over at Everton, he did have a couple of relegation battles mind. But generally I think he did a good job at Everton, and was harshly sacked at Man U as well. You're right he is a long term manager but a pretty good one.

Thankfully this is Mike Ashley we're talking about, so they'll probably appoint someone like Stan Ternent.

Why u say that Janey ???
Just the reports from some of the journos, mind still some contradictory ones, it just seems to be gathering pace.

I would be very surprised if Moyes took the job as he needs to choose his next job wisely. After two sackings in a row, going to the mags and taking them down may finish his reputation.

He said that last night, he also said that he who never played for us deliberately celebrated a goal with the M17 celebration, then had to retract it and his newspaper had to make a donation to a charity in lieu of damages.
Other than that, yes he's reliable

Also once claimed we were signing Fernando Llorente and Martin O'Neill literally laughed in his face.
