Newcastle Manager Situation

Wonder if Tuftyman has been told yet or is he being kept on as head coach and team organiser :)

Not a bad appointment if true but interesting to see how Benitez copes with zero funds, awful players and restricted control.
There's talk he wants full control like we changed our system, they will start to play better if they appoint him I just hope it isn't true

Steve is still in a job and trying to do a deal with Beneitez behind his back, he must be fuming. Would have thought he'd at least sack him first instead of keeping the seat warm

False alarm

Rightsholders (Premier League Prod'n & Sky) called in to conduct player ints pre-Leicester but NO comment re manager. Limbo continues

Eminent replacement.
will be gone by seasons end.
edit; In after topofleaguepounding

I think they've seen our pre-derby thing of sacking our manager and winning as an actual tactic and not just a strange twist of fate.

He'll go some time next Tuesday imo.

Great motivation isn't it? Prepare for a game at the league leaders but you won't be there if we can get the new bloke in.

The only thing stopping him from walking away is probably a payout on his contract.

We've always given them a game before the Derby though. And we've always lost that first game then won the Derby 2nd game. If they're trying to copy us, they need the new man in for Leicester.
