Good to see dont need to drop down lower leagues just to win games and get to Wembley before fans start enjoying football.

It’s a positive mood here … tempered by some familiar Mike Ashley-shaped worries. We’ve recovered from a poor first half of the season to produce some outstanding performances, from the gritty trench warfare of Man City at home to a breathtaking comeback against Everton. We have new heroes (Salomón Rondón, Miguel Almirón, Fabian Schär), we’ve seen local lad Sean Longstaff break through, and we’ve witnessed Rafa get every last drop from players like Isaac Hayden and Ayoze Pérez. Fans are enjoying going to the match again… and that’s a huge achievement. Of course, if Rafa goes, that changes everything – and with takeover talk again receding, it doesn’t look as if our financial knight in shining armour will be arriving any time soon.

More of this please … Almirón on the ball, given his pace, nous and quick thinking. And when (and if) we reach safety, it would be great to see whether Yoshinori Muto and Antonio Barreca can cut it

Less of this please … Silly mistakes … and giving away penalties and free- kicks. We’ve been punished by lapses in concentration and committed too many stupid fouls. It’s frustrating, especially as we can play with such solidity.

Predictions… We will finish 13th. The top four: 1 Man City; 2 Liverpool; 3Arsenal; 4 Man United. Going down: 18 Cardiff; 19 Fulham; 20 Huddersfield

Yeah but this isn’t going away iirc :lol:

Imagine them still trying to blame Ashley when they’ve all conveniently forgotten to protest when they’ve won a few games.

If they actually gave a fuck about him they’d do what Blackpool fans have done but in reality it has fuck all to do with Ashley and everything to do with their delusion that because they finished second twice that they’re as big a club as Liverpool or Man City and that they deserve to be Premier League winners.

The cünts take delusion to another level.

I hope they finish as high as possible, Mike Ashley will be delighted because he has spent fuck all really, ( apart from the first payment on Almorons chucky deal) and it will look great on FSW's CV, hopefully clubs will be lining up to make him their new manager, then the Orks will be milling around during the summer wondering whether to prertest aboot Rafa f***ing off, Mikey boy staying and taking the club off the market, or the players like Lascelles and Perez wanting away.

Next weekend is going to be hilarious watching them all telling anyone who’ll listen that they aren’t bothered we’re in a cup final, that they aren’t bothered we’re at Wembley and all that shite when they were crying their arses off because we wouldn’t give them extra tickets to their game against us - despite them taking a whopping 66 fans to Grimsby in the same competition.

Nice to see you spending your Sunday writing complete bollocks on your rivals forum Benji, ya mam will be so proud.

Benitez had to abandon all hopes of a cup win so he could pull off another miracle in the league.

Ross obviously wanted a Wembley appearance and had the courage to go for that and promotion.

You have to admire the bloke tbh.

But for Sheff Wed & Walsall that is. Very courageous in going for trophy in which you are one of best 2-3 clubs in it. Rafa will never manage in Third Division so doesnt have that luxury.

He's only staying man because he gets shitloads and will have to pay shitloads back if he resigns.

3k NUFC away fans in the competition. Unheard of. Not bothered though.

Will only happen if you lose. First song if score first ,win cup whatever will be Are you watching Newcastle.
