Dear me is this big club shite still being aired? It's just My Dads bigger than your Dad.

Really, it is an odd subject to get exercised over . The sort of thing my old English teacher would have referred to as otiose, (in the days when English teachers would say such things and wait to be asked what they meant!)

The brutal truth is this:
Bournemouth, Watford, Leicester, Villa. Fulham , Palace and Southampton, have all attracted extremely rich owners in the last few years. Eleven teams in the Premier League are now from London or south of it.

The new order, (paradigm, as that old English teacher would have had it) is that "big" is overwhelmingly going to be south of Manchester.

I personally like it up here having been far and wide, but your typical ultra rich individual with money to burn and fun and influence to seek does not see this far up the map.

I see they have sacked their mascot (or the bloke in the costume to be precise) for being pictured with an Ashley Out sign at a recent home game. Looks like it was thrust into his hands and now the bloke has lost his job and the their is a campaign to have him reinstated

First two articles on the Trophy on a Google search (rather than searching for anything that has failed to check any facts and supports your argument)

But ultimately- what do UEFA themselves say: Here's the entire history of the Europa League AND ITS PREDECESSORS. Odd then that it starts in 71/72, isn't it? @What A Waster

Ok. I see what you're saying and can understand why it is so difficult for you to accept my argument.
Clearly this won't be resolved as we completely disagree, so we may as well leave it there.
