A mate of mine was there today. He works abroad so only gets occasionally but is a seriously committed kid t. He buys a season card and is hardly ever able to go and lets it out. the payback being that he can always get a ticket when he is home. He is a very unhappy man after today. He is right when he says that if they had had a go Southampton wee there to beat.

He'll always go as he's always went, and he is old enough to have went before Keegan's first arrival. He tells me that he is apathetic as to the waiter being there or not, but if pushed says he would rather have an attacking manager and go down firing if they have to go down.

If you watched the game, and I did, Southampton worked their socks off today denying Newcastle any time on the ball. They did not look like they were there to be beaten to me.
