Bigger crowds for longer for starters.

How many people have they had through their doors since the club was formed? Easily double what Leicester have.

Leicester are Mickey Mouse.

Newcastle recently had average crowds less than 3rd division Sunderland currently have.

You're talking rubbish, but I think you know that .....

Who will be the first to break the spell to say Benitez just isn't hacking it ?
None will. They'll go down blaming Ashley while the waiter swans off to serve negative football at a different restaurant with his bulging pay packet and somehow his reputation intact. As the years pass they will elevate him to an almost godlike status and will be seen in the clouds alongside a spit free Bobby looking down upon current managers and passing judgement

Loads starting to question Benitez

Christ. Almighty.

Have Channel 4 started broadcasting regionalised series' of the Undateables?

PMSL. Who the fuck is that lad that is so irate? Bet he has posters of the horse puncher in his room and a phone box in his garage to smash up. What a knob

Newcastle are a massive club like it or not. I've travelled with the forces and the club is known in all corners of the globe with fans everywhere. Still shite mind

Being well known doesn't make you massive.

Eddie the Eagle is known all over the world for being a clumsy trier who always looks like he's about to fall over ;)

Seriously, what are Newcastle known for worldwide ..... I'm interested.

I lived in France for 15 years and they were barely mentioned.

I've been all around the world, nufc tops by locals everywhere. They're not in the man utd or Bayern league but very much a 2nd tier worldwide club.

But why would that be?

I honestly never saw one in the whole of France.

I only ever saw one flag and that was in an exiles garden.

Why would I know?

They did challenge near the very top in the 90s and played in the champions league.

They are very much on a par with Spurs in terms of stature.

Famous for....

- holding a mock funeral
- having fisticuffs with a horse
- going to games and parading their page 3 worthy tits and gross bellies
- shouting at shops
- claiming to be everyone's 2nd team (one said it on the comments page of BBC Sport after they lost yesterday)

Not famous for footballing entertainment....one shot from their own half:)

That's nowhere near the truth tbh, Spurs have a much bigger worldwide stature.

Anyway, it's not important enough for me to argue about .... thanks for the responses ;)

I was in South Africa for 3 months recently and other than man utd and liverpool out of the English clubs Newcastle were 3rd popular. In Johannesburg I saw loads of gravy tops. Many more than Spurs.
