I've actually had to look at this a few times and I just don't get it.
I get the stripes and the bridge and the image of Benitez - I get that.
At a stretch I get the giant flattened brown ale bottle cap as well.
I just can't work out the gas lamp, the old floodlight and the f***ing sheep
Or the cars and trucks being from the mid-20th century.

I wonder.... could the sheep be a reference to the fact that if you are given the "Freedom of Newcastle" (like I think Shearer was) you can graze your sheep in the city or something.

Don't tell me there is a campaign to get Benitez the freedom of the city? I mean it's not like a manager of his calibre doesn't belong on a list that includes Nelson Mandela and the Founder of Greggs....
It's yours isn't it!! It's your campaign poster to get fsw freedom of the city.
I smell gravy here.

Not mine I'm afraid! My efforts would have been done on MS Paint!

To be fair I didn't think it could get more cringeworthy than that MP talking in parliament recently. But a campaign to get Benitez the freedom of Newcastle would probably do it........

I think it's meant to be a shepherd and his flock, or a messiah and his disciples, or something like that.
Mind, they are thick as fuck, so it could just be by someone who likes sheep. I think they are baa'ing at an olde shop.

The sheep are probably being shepherded towards a slaughterhouse.

Or, at the very least, somewhere where they can be totally fleeced.
