How much debt did Ashley take on when he took over?

Haven’t a clue. But whatever he did is his own fault for not doing proper due diligence. Ashley is an example of many owners who have taken over football clubs and completely disregarded the heritage and what it means to a city. This is not something that should be celebrated and laughed at, football fans should be coming together to force legislation or a review into the fit and proper test...all these parasites are in it for their own interests and they don’t give a fuck if a regions heritage is fucked up in the process.

And in that post you give yourself away, Mag and or Portsmouth, no coincidence Big billy disappears and you rock up. How sad

I've got mates in Pompey and generally our clubs get on fairly well.

Billy Old Spice is doing his best to change that like.

Most in Portsmouth believe it to be true fwiw

Don't talk shite..........most in Portsmouth do not give a feck about Sunderland...........more bothered about their nearest and dearest Southampton, the Scummers and the history between them and old Harry Craggy Face. Must be nice that you speak for thousands of fans though Captain Ego.

Now sit the right way up in your chair and try speaking through the mouth like the rest of us rather than via your arse.

I think they’re within their rights to ask why they are one of lowest spenders in the league, despite having £150m from last season and £50m already from this in their coffers. Especially when teams like wolves and Fulham who have been out of top flight for years and spending like it’s going out of fashion. Haven’t they hiked their season tickets by 15% too or something? Whilst it’s funny to laugh at them melting down, they’re quite right to stand up for their club cos if they lose Benitez, then they’re fucked. They recognise that and want to do everything they can to keep hold of him.

Pardew did much better than Benitez, fact.

Great post.much better than the usual we get and put very well, its frustrating but rinse and repeat, i dont disrespect fans who want change but i also dont get involved , ive said for ages i cant see what fun he gets out of owning us anymore, clearly not arsed about the acadamy etc so the quicker he just fucks off and let someone else have the keys the better for all.

What if they're worse than he is?

Besides no one with any real money and ambition wants to buy the club

Just look at the owners Newcastle have had in your lifetime and get real.

A series of fat idiots laughing at the supporters .... at least Ashley does it to your face.
