Hate to add to the debate concerning "them owwah the wattah" and I freely admit that this news item has nothing to do with football (so Mods delete if deemed unworthy) BUT how will the rest of The Great North East compete and contain the spread of "Toonism" but it would seem that once County Durham's very own Gateshead has now been subsumed into Greater Noocassell

They’re more worried by the fact we could be playing them again the season after next and that (hopefully) the new owners here have done away with the shite holding us back and we’d be in a better position than them.

Your wages are 131% if your turnover. Your owner hates the club as much as the fans hate him and he won’t sell until he gets back the £240 million he’s into the club for. Rafa can’t stand the meddling behind the scenes and will be gone as soon as he gets a decent offer elsewhere and if your lot force him to stay he’ll resent it forevermore.

Ashley isn't going anywhere anytime soon. I can see Benitez leaving next summer but I can't see us going down again anytime soon.

Doesn't really take much energy to find negatives at your place, you lot even see yourselves you have been toxic and the biggest joke of a club in the country there last 2 years especially and to top it off having the most empty seats in the UK

Where we are now with sell outs for every game, a top manager and top half pl would be the absolute ultimate for your lot.

If you take off the one off contract provisions & promotion bonuses that wage ratio falls to
about 100%

Then take into account approx extra £90m income in premier league it’ll be down below 50% for last season
