We would like to.Can’t argue with that. He’s made a massive difference. You lot trying to sign him permanently?
There was an article about prize money/tv money a few weeks ago. That itself is about £85m but how much will be trousered by the Tracksuit TycoonWe would like to.
Ashley has promised every penny the club generates this season but that could mean anything from nothing to 100 million.
Might be worth pushing the boat out for.We would like to.

I think the sky money this season for 10th place is over 120 million, 85 is the base then you get add ons for every game you are shown live plus league position. That's total sky money though not profit so who knows, your guess is as good as mine. There was an article about prize money/tv money a few weeks ago. If Arsenal, ManUtd or Chelsea had decided to actually turn up and put in a bit of effort against them, then they would have ended the season just above the relegation zone.
3 or 4 points this season makes a huge difference to the final position and this is papering over a few cracks. That squad is no where near as good as the squad that Rafa took down, and he spent a few bob in the process of making it worse.
Very good season for Nufc and Rafas done a decent job. Problem is nufc fans will now demand same again and theres every chance theyll regress without unlikely major investment.
Theyd have been better off finishing 13th. Expectations are now unrealistically high as always with the mags
Benitez has developed players. Even in his relatively short tenure he's brought on the games of Lascelles, Shelvey, Dummett, Perez. He surely signed Murphy with a view to developing him, plus the young lads we picked up from Arsenal and a couple of youth prospects from Spain.
Trouble is the youth system has been neglected for so long that there aren't many prospects of our own, and lads who do have genuine promise, like Lewis Gibson, correctly want to put their faith in tried and tested youth setups at Everton.

I think so and don't think the fee would be huge but there is a pretty good chance Ashley will decide as we finished 10th the team need's none of the money invested in it.Might be worth pushing the boat out for.
quinny was spat on,and bent's mother racialy abused.....back in yer box son!You did....you spat on him when he came as england manager when keegan was playing too.
......filthy animal.
You might catch a few.I hate to start a thread about them but I think I've missed something.Im reading and hearing more and more about their successful season, what have they won or what competition have they qualified for? I'm thinking their success is in keeping Benitez there for another season that's what they deem to be success, how else can you explain a mid table finish for a club without a title for over 90 years and the cup for over 60 years.Delusional lambs to the slaughter each year, at least we know we are shit on and off the pitch.
If expectations are unrealistically as always, what difference does finishing 13th or 10th make? £5.7 million in prize money is the only difference
Not this shit again.People say lot's of stupid things, just look at you.
Mags as collective do not think we are better than Barcelona. The Chronicle claiming we have proved the doubter wrongs would be fair assuming they are talking about the people who didn't think we would stay up. Mags were slagging Ashley off for the lack of money spent this season and still are, none of us have been slagging our Championship players off as a group at any point in the season. None of us think they are are world class.
I'm pleased for you that titles won back in the 1800's give you solace while playing in League 1, unfortunately for me I can't say that about trophies we won before I was born, they give me no solace at all.
Your fans are the problem. If you finish 14th next year its another good season for you lot. your fans wont see that though
Not this shit again.
Right Rafa has been involved in three seasons at your club 15-16 (all be it only for the back end), 16-17 and 17-18.
In those three seasons fat Mike has sanctioned £166m for new players or £55.3m per season.
You are not at the same level of the two Manchester clubs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool or Everton so what the fuck do you expect?
Why would 14th good? Its just an anonymous season and instantly forgettable. Plus it means we'd have done worse than the previous year.
At last the truth comes out.Why would 14th be good? Its just an anonymous season and instantly forgettable. Plus it means we'd have done worse than the previous year.
I expect us to win the champions league every year.
