Nope I think he’s done a decent job, but I think he’s used the adoration he has to suit his own ends and make you think everything good is because he’s a genius and everything bad is because Mike Ashley is the devil incarnate.
He’s used the lack of investment when it suits, i.e. when you’ve lost, but not when you have won.

I'm more than certain that I know the running of my club better than you. I can say without question that Ashley is despised at our great club. From the tea lady to Corporate members and even management/coaching staff absolutely hate the bloke. He's a billionaire Del Trotter. A con man. Whether we win lose or draw we will never change that opinion. We have a fantastic manager who not only knows football inside out but is also a brilliant diplomat. When you lot come out with your jealous crap regarding Ashley/Rafa it's just bitter made up lies.
