Never said he wasn't. And that was years ago now. He was good at Valencia before that too.
He's not that level of manager anymore. He fucked up the Real Madrid, Inter and even Napoli jobs in more recent times no matter how you dress it up.
He's perfect for a club like Newcastle nowadays, and he's doing a decent job. That's not a criticism, it's just the way it is. It's just ridiculous how they label him "world class" when ignoring his recent failures.

The level of bias on here has always been absurd. Even now some people would argue your players are better than ours etc. The ability to look at something through unblinkered eyes most struggle with.
