I didn't say you specifically. However if I was mixing regularly with NUFC fans (which is what you do, but SAFC fans) and I was trying my hardest to stay on their wave length and fit in (which again is what you do, But with SAFC fans) and all of a sudden a Sunderland fan comes along acting like an idiot. I'd be quickly calling him out and telling the people I'm pandering to that we're not all like that. Fortunately I wouldn't and don't need to put myself in that position.
 

All this guff about big clubs. The important thing is to be a successful club. Crowds, ground size, world class manager, mean nothing. Success is what history will remember.

I would never just assume that all Newcastle fans are the same. However I would always be sceptical about those who are trying to fit in. At least we know where we stand with the ball bag fella.
