Yup, that must be the reason they sacked him.Aye they didn't do too badly under Benitez, think they scored 70 odd goals in 25 games and lost just 3 times. Also had a record breaking champions league group campaign.
Couple of high scoring wins as well from The Defensive One, 10-0 and 8-0.
You're right. It's a cringeworthy name for cringeworthy actions......but is this the most cringeworthy name for them up the road ever. My toes are curling just typing it.
Desperate for attention, says a mag who spends all day, every day on an safc forum.Get in. Here come the Granda moths desperate for attention![]()

Must admit, if I was in charge of Real Madrid, I could probably get them to 3rd place and would struggle to stop them scoring a bucket load against some of those Spanish teams (and no, I'm not a miracle working world class manager).
I wonder why.
If you could get them to 3rd place why do they pay top dollar for the best coaches in the world? They could save their money and appoint the Spanish equivalent of Ian Holloway who would probably win the league with all his experience. They're missing a trick here.
Why are all the sad mags on here using what fatty did with other teams year's a f***ing go to make out he's world class?
How about tell us what he's done for Newcastle, oh wait...
Could just get Dave who is an unemployed scaffolder from Pallion to do the graft, no need even for a Holloway. What a bunch of mugs these elite clubs are.
McClaren and now Grayson brought into try and deflect the FACT that benitez has 1 point and nestled in a relgation place.Newcastle fans didn't bring it up. It's been an ongoing thing on here for over two years about how Benitez is so bad that he was lucky with Valencia, lucky at Liverpool, failed at inter, Napoli and Real Madrid.
Despite all the trophies he's just been lucky. There's a continuous effort to discredit him and anything he's done.
Not sure McClaren or Pardew got this intense scrutiny on here.
Suggests to me that people know he's a decent manager and strive to make it look like he's poor. Well not everybody, some people would rather have Grayson than Benitez.
Man City should just employ somebody's granny, as I've heard it said from many people "even my granny could win the league with that team". Fools paying Guardiola £12m a year.

But, but, but, but. Most people, including myself, agree he's a decent manager ...
.... providing he's given enough money.
Ashley has said he won't spend big so that's the end of the argument.
Well that’s the end of that argument. Most people, including myself, agree he's a decent manager ...

I guess some people just like to have a name in charge, crazy I know.If you could get them to 3rd place why do they pay top dollar for the best coaches in the world? I think it's fair to say that Newcastle fans by and large have bought into the Rafa mythology. He always was a pragmatic coach who falls out with players he can't mould and micro-manage. The football is as entertaining as toothache but he won't leave of his own accord - none of the big boys will touch him. He'll stay because he's wanted and is very well paid and whatever happens it's not his fault. As well as millions of Ashley's pounds he has net spend in the bank. Oh and a pantomime villain to take the heat. From Benitez' point of view, what's not to like.I wonder why.![]()
Very true, decent when massive funds are available, but found to average when having to manage in a similar manner to 95% of other managers. Every interview is a plea for more money. Most people, including myself, agree he's a decent manager ...
.... providing he's given enough money.
Ashley has clearly said he won't spend big so that's the end of the argument.
Was it:Look at Dangermows' song about them before Chelsea game. Genius .![]()
